Amazon opened its doors in Costa Rica back in 2008 with 75 employees, today we are more than 8,000 employees. Our buildings are located in San José and Heredia in four free trade zones. In Costa Rica we have teams like: Customer Support, Devices Development, IT Support, Advertising, Human Resources, Finance and Accounting, Investigation and Selling partner Services. Our Amazon Customer Operations Centers are hubs for the day-to-day business providing first class solutions to our customers. As a 24/7 operation, Amazon runs many work shifts (days, nights and weekends).
